Farmers Market

2018: Season 2 for the Downtown Hart Farmers Market

Downtown Hart Farmers MarketWe are pleased to announce that Hart Main Street is planning for Season 2 of the Downtown Hart Farmers Market.

The market has created a meaningful connection for the Oceana County area between many partners, our agricultural community, and the City of Hart.

The Farmers Markets take place every other Thursday afternoon on South State Street for easy access and exposure for vendors and businesses alike. Special events to accompany the markets, as well as live entertainment, make it a very festive atmosphere.

Farmers Markets have been such a successful model, providing opportunities for small local growers and producers to have a captive audience, and build a new customer base.  Likewise, the community is grateful to have the quality of goods available and produced from safe, local sources, and in an accessible convenient place.  It has been a proven success, and we look forward to building on that in downtown Hart.
