Good Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration

Community Gathering Full Of Fun and Music

Downtown Hart hosts a good old fashioned Independence Day celebration with a community gathering full of fun and music around Hart Lake on July 2 each year. This year we have games and activities planned for all ages, including face painting, four-square, gaga pit, hula hooping, corn hole, disc golf, hop scotch and more! Our musical entertainment will be featuring Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish, a fun Rock n' Roll group out of Grand Rapids. There is plenty to eat and drink with 4 downtown eateries, The Hart Rotary Club selling popcorn, and of course, icecream! You can enjoy fireworks celebrations in neighboring communities of Silver Lake and Pentwater, and fireworks can be viewed on three consecutive nights to extend the celebration through July 4. Happy Birthday America!

The Hart fireworks are sponsored in part by the City of Hart and through the generosity of the community’s support. Hart boasts the BEST FIREWORKS DISPLAY in the area, and it is a downtown Hart tradition to celebrate Independence day as a community. By helping support this event, you will be recognized by name or business on signage and in publications, including on this page! To be recognized, please donate by June 22, 2018. Thank you for your support, and bring a chair and your family and enjoy celebrating with us!
