Long time volunteer, Pete LundBorg, was named Volunteer of the Year for his countless hours spent working for the benefit of Downtown Hart. He is the architect and "grunt-labor" behind the Christmas decorations in the Hart Commons, as well as one of the repairmen of our giant candy canes. Pete is the imagineer behind the holiday lighting in Downtown Hart, and is now working on plans for Christmas trees that will appear at Hart Commons, on Gurney Park beach and at Veterans' Park.
He and past Volunteer of the Year, Gene Davidson, work tirelessly at the Pentwater Artisan Center to bring life to every insane item that a Main Street Community can dream up.

They outdid themselves this summer, with the beautiful cardboard boat they built for the "Whatever Floats Your Boat" Regatta. (Judges tried to give Pete the "Best Looking Boat" Award, but sadly, he was disqualified, as Hart Main Street was the organizer of the event.)

Thank you, Pete, for all you do...from floating around Hart Lake in a cardboard boat to repairing our chalkboard marquee. What would we do without you!?
